Patrick Jouin Designs The Perfect Chair For Restaurants<\/h1>\n\n\n

Good matchmaking can take time. The Opale armchair by French design star Patrick Jouin<\/a> is a companion piece for the popular Ester chair, an ergonomic marvel the Hall of Famer<\/a> designed over a decade ago for Alain Ducasse\u2019s restaurant at the Dorchester hotel in London. This likeminded seat from Pedrali<\/a> brings even more comfort to bear by employing organic shapes and elastic support belts, and adds the warmth of gracefully tapered ash or walnut legs. Armrests and back cushioned with injected polyurethane foam surround occupants with strength and softness. An especially clever feature is the back, which has a nearly invisible built-in handle that eases maneuverability\u2014rather handy for restaurants, allowing the waiter to pull out your chair with ease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
